THE WESTWARD GUN DOG SOCIETY
The Westward Gundog Society was formed in 1971, its object being " To assist in the training of Gundogs and to promote Field Trials and Working Tests", the society is affiliated to the Kennel Club.
The Westward Gundog Society activities are mostly run in the East Devon area, Novice and Open Field Trials for Retrievers and Spaniels are run during the shooting season and Open and Novice Working Tests in the summer for both Retrievers and Spaniels all of which are affiliated to the Kennel Club.
The Society is involved in demonstration work at Honiton Show, in August, to help promote shooting and gundog work of both Retrievers and Spaniels.

The Skinner's mill has been a traditional part of the Suffolk landscape since 1688.
